BBC Countryfile calendar (2027) competition

.Hi, this is only my second blog on my newly created website and what a way to start. I'm proud, delighted, humbled and honoured to announce that one of my images has been selected for the BBC Countryfile Children in need Calendar for 2027. It was chosen from over 40,000 entries to be one of the 12 to be included, having the title “Hare I am!”. My image throws conventional photographic rules out of the window, creating a bonkers result.(my next blog looks at this approach). The image that goes with this blog is not the calendar submission - all winners have been asked to remove images if they can for the time being. I think this is fair as some competitors may not have websites or wider social media profiles.

There is now a public vote for the best image to be used on the front cover. If you think mine is worthy, and that bonkers deserves to triumph, I would really appreciate your vote which can be made via the link below. Give Whiskers (the name I’ve given the hare) his 15 minutes of fame.
